Hey,

First time using San Diego Super yeast (WLP090) and I'm trying to see if this matches other peoples experiences.

I'm brewing a west-coast IPA OG 1.062 (fermenting at 19c +/- .5) - I added the yeast on Saturday Morning (currently 5 days ago) - typically when I've done batches with other yeasts I would have expected that fermentation would be done by now or so.

However I can hear fermentation is still actively going right now (1 bubble per second) - from what I've read this is a bit of a beast and ferments super quick but to me this feels a little slow? My usual schedule is packaging on day 7-10 or so - but I definitely won't be able to given the current activity.

Does this match other peoples experiences?

Cheers,

Ben

There's a million reasons why a particular brew takes longer to ferment than another.
As long as it's not going below target FG, I'd say just let it ride till done. Yeast don't pay attention to our schedules.
