made a starter with the usual 1/2 cup light DME and 2 1/4 cup water ( lil more for evaporation) OG was 1.038
aerated and added yeast at 70F and topped it off with a piece of foil. I've been stirring the growlers every 2 hours. sitting at 68F.
absolutely nothing going on. any ideas about this strain? ever had a starter take more that 12 hours to start going? thanks alot ! GOD BLESS

Starters don't necessarily give a lot of visual indication. You might want to let it go for a total of 24-48 hours and then crash cool for another 48h. You should get a band of yeast, and the wort should taste fermented. If that happens, you'll know you've got yeast. :mug:
