Need some help with making a starter with this. Im used to using Wyeast and the next clone batch calls for 001. On wyeast theres a manufactured date but with White Labs all I see is a best used date. How do I calculate when the yeast was made to make sure Im making enough yeast for my next batch.

Thanks

Best date minus 4 months should give you manufactured date

From mrmalty yeast calc instructions:

"When using White Labs vials, the date on the vial is a 'best by' date and the production date is 4 months prior to that for ale and lager yeasts (6 months for brett and bacteria products)."
