my daughter is getting married and wanted me to brew wine for her wedding guests tables! Is there any laws (Uk) stopping me from doing this? I understand the venue owners would need to give their Permission, anything else I need to know??

I'd contact the venue management, first. If they veto the idea of you serving your wine, the rest is moot.

If they allow, they can likely send you to the right office to contact, if necessary. Since this is a "private party," e.g., you're not selling the wine, that should work in your favor and a permit may not be needed.

Now if the wine is a party favor, for the guests to take home, not to be consumed at the venue, then you're just a "homebrewer" and you'd fall under those laws, which could be a volume restriction per year, etc. And who's counting?
