Why does my beer darken after I pour it in the glass?

Maybe it's just an illusion but it seems like the beer darkens a few mins after pouring it into a glass. Anyone else experience this?
 
Are you pouring the sediment from the bottom of the bottle into the glass?
 
optical illusion.
when you first pour it's full of tiny co2 bubbles which make the beer appear lighter in color. as those bubbles rise to the surface & form/reinforce the head the beer appears to turn darker.
maybe?

Hmmm... that sounds very plausible! I will go with that!
