Why are Crystal hops so expensive this year?

Anyone know why Crystal hops are so expensive this year? Have they become popular, was it a bad harvest, or had they just been cheep because of low AA last year? I'm probably still ordering some, but seeing Crystal for the same price as Citra and other new, trendy hops is strange.

What do you mean by "expensive"? YVH has them here for $14/lb.

I'm guessing those are last years since this years pellets aren't out yet. I'm ordering leaf from Hops Direct and Crystal is the same price as Amarillo and about $1 more than Citra. I'm sure I could emai Hops Direct, but I figure they are busy right now.

Yeah, I believe those are last year's hops under closer inspection. Building my bulk order now.
