bgruis Well-Known Member Joined Dec 24, 2007 Messages 213 Reaction score 5 Location Johnstown CO Apr 1, 2011 #2 Popple River Pale Ale 5 gallon batch 8 lbs 2 Row 1 lb Crystal 20 mash at 150 for 60 minutes preboil gravity is 1.040 1.0 oz Saaz 60 min hop .50 oz Saaz 15 min .25tsp Irish Moss at 10 min .50 oz Saaz at 5 min Pitch one packet of Safale US 05... Primary for 1 to 2 weeks...then I like to cold crash to 35degrees for a week or so..then force carb in the keg. Great Beer!
