Hey guys, decided to brew my first ever batch of cider using pasteurized apple juice and berries, hopefully it's nothing to worry about but there are small particles floating on the top and fermemtation is pretty slow, I've only ever brewed wine but this seems unusual, anyone know what it is? Posted a link because I can't get images to work. :/

I crushed whole blackberries and raspberries and then passed them through a muslin cloth before adding it to the juice, would it not be enough to remove particles? Some of them are pretty darn big

Ok, then it probably is berry pieces. I have done cider with whole berries, and they do float. I wouldn't worry, you will be able to siphon from under them into your bottling bucket. You may want to wrap your siphon with a sanitized piece of mesh, that will help strain.
