My glass carboy has two "lips" -- the top rim and one below it. Which should hold the carboy? I presently have it on the lower one (, but a quick google image search will show pictures both ways. Furthermore, the instructions on the handle package say to "press down until it encompasses the base of the carboy neck," which seems to imply that the lower rim is the one to use, but the product sketch shows it the other way. I'm confused! Thanks for any help.

On a 5 gallon carboy I put it below the lower lip, on a 6.5 gallon carboy it only fits below the upper lip I believe. Either way, you should always support it on the bottom as you carry it.
