Please indulge this NB, but when a recipe calls for adding X hops @ 60 min, and Y hops @ 0 min for a 60 min boil, does 60 min = time 0 for X hops or does 0 = time 0 for the Y hops? In other words, are the X hops added first, and the Y hops at the end of the boil or is it the other way around?

Yep, the boil/hop addition times are like a countdown. A 60 minute addition is when there are 60 minutes remaining in the boil and a 15 minute addition is when there are 15 mins left, etc., you get the picture. Cheers!
