What's the #1 worst movie you've ever seen? One answer per person.

Me? Probably Zoolander.

AHU

Zoolander? WTH is wrong with you man? :D

Me? Bowfinger. I'll never get that 97 minutes of my life back.
My buds and I still to this day refer to any other bad movie as a "Bowfinger".

Awesome thread, BTW....

Going Overboard - an early (perhaps his first?) Adam Sandler movie. A buddy of mine picked up a copy second hand. I don't think we lasted 15 minutes before stopping it and throwing something else in to watch. Horrible. Avoid like the plague.

I've seen some pretty bad MST3K episodes. I don't think I can pick one. However, ignoring MST3K, Sextette was absolutely awful (not porn).

The only movie I have ever got up and walked out of......"Chocolat". You know how it is...your with SWMBO and you cave in. Worst hour of my life. My nads just shrank as I typed "Chocolat"

was that with Horatio Sanz? (the fat guy from snl) where they were stuck on an all-male cruise ship? i didnt see the whole thing but parts were funny...

Torque. The one with Lawrence Fishburn where there's a biker gang that races. What really pissed me off was that the Comcast rating system gave that piece of tripe 2 stars, which it also doles out to many movies that I like.

MST3K made bad movies good...

The worst I've seen (and walked out of) was Striptease. Not even Demi's tatas saved that one. The second worst was Eyes Wide Shut which I couldn't walk out of due to being in the middle of the row in a Swedish movie theatre (assigned seating!) and socked in by mounds of down coats.

Oooooo - gotta disagree. I found the semi-pornographic vibe of Eyes Wide Shut too much to resist . . . I'm sick, I know.

C'mon, I can't BELIEVE you didn't see that coming from a mile away. Some movie equations are doomed from the beginning:

Lawrence Fishburn + biker gangs = WTF did you expect? ;)

Eyes Wide Shut, on the other hand:

exhibitionist sex + naked overdosed hookers = I hope SWMBO doesn't see this tent I'm pitching :p

coming from the best director of all time ( a clockwork orange, full metal jacket, the shining, spartacus, 2001: a space oddessy, etc)...i was very dissapointed with eyes wide shut...

"Spanking the Monkey"

Let me save you from the temptation of renting this movie and give away the spoiler: A dude bangs his mom.

Another movie I hated: "Punch Drunk Love." If you ask me, Adam Sandler should stick to doing what he does best: Not making movies.

Then there are the chick-flicks. Gawd, I hate Chick Flicks.

For the most part I would have to agree. I recently spent a couple hours on an airplane watching that movie with him playing football in prison that I could have better spent talking with the screaming baby behind me.

However...I will say Spanglish was a good movie and he did a good job in it (slightly different role for him).

I used to think Leningrad Cowboys Go America was the worst movie ever made, but it grew on me. Now I think it's pretty funny.

Aside from MST3K movies, I'd have to say any Kevin Costner movie ever made. Why does anyone let him make movies?

What?!? You obviously haven't seen Waterworld - a superb performance by Costner and the role that will ultimately secure his place in the annals of Hollywood stardom!

AHU

c'mon :( . Field of Dreams is a good movie. and Fandango, and Bull Durham are classics!

Worst movie as in So Bad It's Good, or just plain stinkin' bad?

In the second category I think in recent years it was Gods and Generals. How can someone make a movie like Gettysburg that is possibly one of the very best things made in the last 15 years and then follow it up with the same cast and make something that was so painful to watch my eyes still hurt thinking about it?

The worst movie I have seen so far is "Ski School 2." I never saw the first one, never will. I have a copy of "Jesus Christ Vampire Slayer" I've been meaning to check out, and I'm sure it will make the list.

Cheesefood: Punch Drunk Love is the best Adam Sandler movie of all time. I know that's not saying much, but he's much more enjoyable when he's not talking like an infant and putting things down his pants. I enjoyed that movie a great deal. To each his own, but man...THAT's the worst Adam Sandler movie you've seen?

OK, well I have to admit that I've never seen Field of Dreams. Having seen his other clunkers, I've never wanted to. But Waterworld? The Postman? The Upside of Anger? Blaaaaaahhhhhh!

Dude, you've got an extra "N" there. You didn't mean annals, now did you?:D

Most recently watched bad movie?
I watched "The War of the Worlds" last weekend. No, not the new one, and not the original one. Don't know the production date, but it had a '00 Monte Carlo and special effects from the late 80's. The acting was all WAY over the top, and much of it was crying. The storyline didn't connect at all, and nothing fit together right.

At least you got to see this beautiful woman topless for the first two minutes of the movie (great tits), but that hardly made up for the aliens - they looked like walking green canopies.

Worst movie I can think of is Kenneth Branaugh's "Frankenstein."
From the fake opening of a ship stuck in the polar ice cap, to the blood and egg-white slime. ::shudder::

okay, i'm with you on those, and i have never seen them! i just know they suck. but do me a favor. go rent bull durham. i swear you'll laugh your ass off! i think field of dreams is just a movie for the average American male that loved baseball. just one of those things. when Moonlight Grahm talks about the green of the grass, the sky so blue it hurts your eyes, then rounding second and sliding into thrid w/ a handful of drit......gives me goosebumps....

Will do. Put it on my Netflix list, anyway.

Ah, well... I guess I'm not enough of a tomboy to appreciate baseball. ;)

even! :D Bull Durham, as i'm sure you know, is another baseball movie. but, it's crude and funny. kinda like baseball!!! :drunk:

I've seen lots of very bad movies. Mystery Men is up there though, what a shame that movie was.

Just thought of another one: Ghostworld.

So boring, I nearly gouged my eyes out for entertainment value.

Sorry to bring this one back alive, but I thougt I needed to add showgirls. Without Jessie from Saved by the Bell getting naked, that movie is tripe. Sad to say, I own it. It was on sale for like $3 so I bought it. It's worth $3 to fast forward to the good parts every now and again, though.

I don't think you really need to appologize for reviving a thread that's had a post in the past 24 hours ;)

happy mug, I think I may have seen the version you're refering to. Horrible flick. Not a bit of that movie was believable - at least of what I saw (didn't care to watch it all the way through) :p

Wort movie of all time in my opinion and the only movie I did not at least suffer though to see if the end made the whole story worth it was Gili with Ben Aflack and Jennifer Lopez. I think both my wife and I only made it 15 min. in before we shut if off.

And the bar scene where Costner and husband of Sarandon wind up out back is filmed in Mitch's Tavern, my old college hole in the wall, and the only bar I've ever been kicked out of twice! Count me in the hate Costner club, but Bull Durham is a good movie and his tirade to Sarandon while she's trying to play husband of Sarandon against him is classic. Field of Dreams was good, too. Otherwise, he's only a hair better than Keanu and Charlie Sheen.

Another vote for anything from Costner besides Bull Durham and Field of Dreams.
Also, that recent movie Alexander w/ Colin Ferrel is pretty bad.
Caddyshack II should never have happened.
Once Bitten, an early Jim Carrey movie should be illegal to own or play,
Action Jackson with Carl Weathers took 2 years off my life,
Remo Williams:The Adventure Begins is bad, though like a trainwreck, I feed the need to watch,

I am sure that I can come up with others... it beats working on a Friday afternoon...
