So I screwed up following a recipe from someone else...yes I know but as we all know it's not always the greatest idea to start brewing after one starts consuming....anyways I was wondering if anyone had any idea what category this would fall under for the BJCP Style Guidelines. If any. So here it is and let me know your thoughts.

Ingredients:
------------
Amount Item Type % or IBU
5.50 lb Vienna Malt (3.5 SRM) Grain 47.83 %
5.00 lb Pilsen Malt 2-Row (Briess) (1.0 SRM) Grain 43.48%
0.50 lb Carahell (Weyermann) (13.0 SRM) Grain 4.35 %
0.50 lb Caramunich III (Weyermann) (71.0 SRM) Grain 4.35 %

1.00 oz Tettnang [4.50 %] (60 min) Hops 14.3 IBU
0.50 oz Hallertauer [4.80 %] (30 min) Hops 5.9 IBU
0.50 oz Hallertauer [4.80 %] (15 min) Hops 3.8 IBU
1 Pkgs DCL w-34/70 (DCL Yeast #Safelager) yeast-Lager

Cheers

I too would call it a marzen style, but definitely not a true Oktoberfest. I think you could probably get less knowledgable beer drinkers to think its an o-fest though :)

and I too think its going to be a fine tasting beer.

what was it 'supposed' to be?
