Im stuck at work for another 3 hours and im very bored, been looking around the internet and cant make up my mind. There isn't really anything I feel like I need to change maybe just make it more efficent. Im happy with sticking to 5GAL BIAB.
15GAL SS concord kettle w/ therm and 3 piece valve
blichman floor burner
wilser biab bags and pulley
2 plastic 6gal pet fermentors
bruhaulers
auto siphon
stir plate /2L flask
homemade copper IC 3/8" (slow, waste a lot of water, not all coils sit below wort approx 3/4)
7.2 cu ferm chamber with controller
keezer with controller
3 ball valve corny kegs
hydrometer
materials to harvest my own yeast
Id think about getting a mill but my LHBS crushes for me and I can hit 75% efficiency, and they are only 4 miles out of the way home from work.
I think the only thing Id really like to improve on is clarity (I use whirlfloc, and gelatin) so maybe thinking a pump, loc line to recirc and get into plate chilling. Id guess I use about 100-150gals to cool my wort as it drains into a 55gal trash can. Or start messing with water quality any ideas to help?
