So I recently received my kegs in the mail from kegconnection.com. I ordered 2 ball lock corny's. I decided to take them apart to familiarize myself with the components and inspect them. The first keg had all the correct components and had a little bit of co2. I guess to prevent the keg from being damaged or dented during shipment. Upon inspection of the second keg I found that the poppet valve for the gas in line wasn't a normal poppet valve. The spring wasn't under tention and just popped off the oring. This keg did not have as much co2 in it and I'm afraid it might be leaking. Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think. Thanks

The spring and separate poppet on the left in the last pic are typical for modern replacement parts. It's fine. BTW if it was leaking when it left the seller there wouldn't be any co2 left in it when it got to you.

Thanks guys I wasn't sure what I had I just knew it was different from the other valves and doesn't sit as flush on the top of the ball lock connection
