what kind of yeast would you use?

I am developing a recipe for a shwarzbier as that is one of my favorite styles of beer and I am trying to figure out of what kind of yeast I should use for it?

In Jamil's book he recommends WLP830, Wyeast 2124 or Fermentis Saflager S-23. Personnaly I'd go with one of the liquid yeast. Just remember to make a huge starter since it's a lager.

Saflager w 34/70 or S-23 works for me,, no starter and I just dump it in. did a 10 gal and split it into 2 fermenters both turned out so good I and my brew friend could not choose which one was better

34/70 is best (for dry yeast). S-23 gives me perfumey aromas that are nice in a pilsner (gives it character), but maybe not in a schwarzbier.

Wyeast 2042 and 2206, White Labs 830, 940 and 802 would all work fine.
