I have three year old Cascade and Chinook that have produced awesome results in the past. This year arent looking so good? Had aphids early but sprayed and got rid of those. Then grew to the top of trails. Now this issue? Not sure what is going on? My Nuggets are going awesome?

Looks like MSU found some better pictures for their fact sheet. This is why it's suggested to clear out the lower vegetation on the plants as when the disease gets going, the canopy formed near the soil surface helps create a favorable environment for the organism to flourish. Look over the suggestions in this link and hope we don't get too much more rain. Managing hop downy mildew early in the season is critical
