To expand a bit, you could sanitize it, hook it all up, stick it down in your wort, and oxygenate the bejebers out of it. Most folks think that's good for your yeast, and I'm one of them. I do recommend looking into a large fermenter or some Fermcap-S, if you want to do it, though.
