This is for a 1 Litre batch.

1 cup raisins and 1 cup prunes boiled for an hour. ( All boiled juice and half of fruit used)

1 very large cup of sugar (estimated but more than a cup).

3/7 of a package of Lalvin ec-1118 yeast...

Very simple but that's what I aim for. I eat slices of bread plain for breakfast...I enjoy wholesome flavours :)

Your opinion and harsh criticism will be good for my education. Is there enough sugar in the fruit/juice and added sugar to maximize alcohol %?

For next time, is there anything you would add to "spice up" the flavour? Hops? Vanilla? Different kinds of sugar?

Anyone with experience with prunes and raisins let me know how it turned out!

Thanks for your time and knowledge, it is appreciated!

Edit: This is my first batch I've ever made.

What are you trying to make?
Adding hops to most things that aren't beer usually isn't a good idea, such as here. Different sugars give different flavors, so you can experiment with that. Vanilla could go good, you could use vanilla beans or extract.
