So i have this stuff laying around, and im gonna throw it all together and see what comes out, cause thats what us home brewers do right? :rockin:

so heres the bill:

5.5 Lbs munich malt
1lb Lager malt
2lbs Rye
.75 lb crystal 45
.75 lb crystal 80

1 oz cenntennial 60 min boil
.5 oz amarillo & cenntenial mix 30 min boil
.25 oz amarillo 15 min boil
.25 oz amarillo & cenntenial mixed 5 min boil

looking to mash at 152*f for 1 hour.

what do you guys think?

Sounds good, my only concern would be that 1.5 lbs of crystal malt might be too much, I learned the hard way that overusing crystal malts can be yucky but maybe someone with more experience could shed some more light

i can easily cut the amount of crystal, i was thinking it might have been on the extreme side myself, was just hoping to get alot of body.

what about another pound or so of the lager malt? or am i good to go on the fermentable side of things?

keep the advice coming fellas, brew days quick approaching!
