Due to costs I brew only 2.5 gallon batches
Due to my experience I only do partial mash batches.
Due to my comfort level I've stuck with low IBU beers...stouts, porters, cream ales...malty stuff.

So last night at the local brew club holiday party I won 1 ounce of each of the following hops:
Apollo (17% alpha...wow)
Centennial
Magnum
Willamette
Amarillo

I would love to have some input on some recipes to use these. Hopefully with enough input from those creative minds out there I can produce 2-5 different batches.

Forgive me if I don't respond before next year but I'm off to UT to get my shred on; of course I've got to drive through that nasty storm cutting through the midwest. YIKES!

If you like hoppy beers, you could make a 2.5 gallon batch of a really nice IPA with the either the apollo or magnum as bittering hops early in the boil and then finish it off with centennial as flavoring hops mid boil somewhere and the amarillo for aromatics..
