14# Munich malt

1# German Pils
1# Caramunich
1# Melanoidin
Wyeast 2206/ 3L stater
1.25 Hallertau at 75 min.
.75 Hallertau at 15min.
I was shooting for a Dopplebock.
The starter was very slow to take off but it finally did. The main batch has been fermenting strong for ~ 14 days now at 50 degrees.
OG - 1.084
FG - 1.026
I took my first FG at 14 days so i'm not sure it is done, but it sure is tasty. This is my first lager and the freezer I was planning on using as a lagerator has the cooling coils as shelves, so I won't be able to remove them to lager the whole carboy. I'm going to do a rest and then bottle lager.
I am planning on carbonating with corn sugar.
