What could go wrong???

So I boiled my first all grain brew. I poured it into my new carboy. and it seemed very full. I may have added about 1/2 a gallon too much water after I looked at what I had done. I tasted the wort last night and it had a very good flavor. But today I recieved a call at work that foam is comming out the air lock so tonight I poured the wort from the carboy to my fermenting bucket. My question is did I ruin my batch . I guess I will know in two months. Any suggestions/

you got blowoff. read about blowoff tubes. it should all be ok

No, not ruined, it will be fine in the bucket. Just next time, leave more head space for the foamy fermenting process to take place.
