[...]I thought about getting one of those manifolds but instead got a couple beer line jumpers. Works great, daisy chain the beer lines and tap faucet ends. One in, one out, all cleaned at once.

Try daisy-chaining six faucets and see what the flow rate is like. Bt/dt, it was pathetic.

I have a purpose built manifold instead from chicompany.net that works great, plenty of flow with my 6 taps in parallel...

Cheers!

I have done five taps and didn't gave an issue. I use a hand sprayer with a keg post end. Fill it with mixed beer line cleaner, pump it through then followed by clear water.

The last tap spout goes into a bucket. I dump that down the taps drip tray and drain.

Never heard of a beer line jumper. Gotta check it out, I have a 4 out manifold and six taps... So I was planning on ... Duplicating two lines each cleaning (i.e 1-4, followed by 3-6) but with a jumper, could I do six at once?
From Bobby, Brew hardware, QD jumper. I use two for five beer taps, one works with three taps.

A hand pump or a pressurized keg have a lot more pressure than the usual home brew pumps. Bicycle pumps can pump up road bike tires to 90+ psi as an example. It can be fine to use the hand sprayer pump and let it sit but you'll get better cleaning from recirculating. I do use the hand sprayer on my kegerator taps since my brewery pumps are mounted and in a different room. I am more concerned however with my jockey box coils since they don't always get flushed immediately when I get back from a trip. So I like to recirculate PBW to keep them clean, then sometimes BLC.

That's a good point and I have been thinking of building something to recirculation cleaner through the lines.

Do you find using PBW works better for cleaning rather than just BLC?

I've always been leery of coils since you can't see inside them and I have been pretty strict about cleaning them. So on my jockey box I've been doing recirculation with PBW first and then sometimes I will do the BLC. That's why the time is important and I wanted to do them all at once. But I just use BLC on my kegerator lines. They are short and I can see inside up to where they go into the tower. I'm not sure just PBW will work on its own for draft systems. PBW is alkaline but BLC is an acid. I think you need the acid for the draft side for some things. A lot of the information available for draft systems is geared towards commercial operations too, higher volumes than homebrewing, makes it a little difficult to know what might be the best intervals and methods for us.

Wow, am I dumb! I thought that BLC was basic. Or are there both acidic and basic versions?
I've used BLC and LLC and for sure the Five Star version is a caustic cleaner. Ie, hella basic
The National Chemicals Incorporated BLC is mostly Potassium Hydroxide with an alkaline pH so also definitely caustic, not acidic...

Cheers!
My dumb mistake! I think I framed my query wrong by asking if they were acids. It looks like beer line cleaners can be acids or bases, but BLC (National Chemicals) is basic.

This Kegco 6 gallon pot came during the week. It was on ebay for $45 but they wanted $42 to ship it. It looks like the box was damaged and the pot returned. Nothing wrong with it but I wouldn't buy it at first due to the high shipping. But then the seller knocked it down to $31.50 for the pot so I bought it. The ended up putting the original box into a bigger box hence the shipping cost. It came with a 3 piece valve but I switched to the Spike one in order to flip the bulkhead.

These other items came today. I am going to electrify the pot and use it for a 3 gallon pico-pilot brewery. It'll be 120 volts. I've got a whirlpool and TC fittings plus the pull through tool to silver solder in the bulkheads on their way. I'll be able to sub in the Kegco for my BK on the EHERMS or even back to back brew if feeling ambitious. I've got one of those Vevor SS pumps too that I snagged for $20 that could be used on the Inkbird.

@MaxStout and @elproducto inspired me to go book shopping, and BA has Mosher’s book 50% off. View attachment 861185

Radical Brewing is a book I refer to a lot. It drills down into ingredients and methods. It has encouraged me to experiment more and think outside the box.

The Classic Beer Styles Series are a bit dated, but the discussions of the styles, ingredients and history make them worth seeking out

One of the two new tulips direct from Boulevard Brewing had a deformed base that caused a wobble, shown here:

The folks are Boulevard kindly sent a replacement and allowed me to keep the mutant.
Also, I had bought three mint Boulevard logo'd glasses from an older series on ebay which also showed up today.
I think they are understatedly handsome as well :)

I have another couple of ebay buys of even older Boulevard series glasses that should arrive in the next few days. I'm trying to acquire at least one mint example of every tulip series they've sold...

Cheers!

@day_trippr - ha.... The irony of your post ... Wobbly glass... coming right after a member called wigglebutt brewery . Hahaha

Two more glasses arrived today, one understatedly elegant and the other extra flamboyant 😁
My photo skillz are definitely lacking but I'm ploughing ahead anyway.

I believe this is the original "smokestack" glass. I think it's the classiest of the bunch.

Then there's this super rare "Shuttlecock with Fountain" beauty!

This is the second style with the square "brick chimney" stem. I need to find the back-story on this glass!

If I'm keeping track correctly these two make a total of eight different stemmed tulips in my collection that Boulevard has sold. I've been pouring through the interwebs looking for more, but so far just found these 8. I need to come with a good "group photo" of the entire family next 😁

Cheers!

Tank 7 gets me going!

@camonick, where did you have your beer glasses made? I'm thinking of having some printed, and I like the Willi Becher style and haven't found them on the custom sites I've checked.
That glass isn’t mine. It’s from a brewery in southwestern Nebraska. Mine are just regular shaker pints from https://www.webstaurantstore.com/
I had to submit a png image. If I recall correctly, I had to order a case or 2 to make it work. I don’t know if they offer the Becher style glasses or not. I like them too.

Edit:
Looks like they are available.

They’re kinda pricey.

Thank you! $32/case of 12 isn't bad for just the glasses. Amazon gets that much for 4. I'll check out their customization.

Edit: I now see that the minimum order for custom jobs is 24 dozen. :(

Been a bit tardy in opening packages but finally got em all open. Bought some more fermenting buckets, three 1 gallon fermenters for experimental batches of beer, rice wine and mead. Various hops, DME and grains. Bought another Chinese pickle jar and some glutinous rice and yeast balls for rice wine. I have lots of brewing books on the way but they haven't shown up yet..
