The Grocery Brewpub in Homewood, AL. None of their brews are available, they don't do flights. Decent selection of commercial craft beer plus several BMCs. I guess the tanks are just for show?

I just ate here on 19 Feb 2023. We had snow on the ground but the fire pits were going strong. Great Pizza. I tried their Doppelbock and Franconian Braubier. All good. I would like to go when it is a little warmer.Visited a couple of northern NH breweries last week.
Schilling. Really nice.

Hey, where is this brewery. We’ll be passing through Dayton tomorrow (assuming no detours around the toxic mess going on in Richmond). Looks like a cool stop.Dayton OH, a working museum brewery.

Will do. I may go Saturday I have a cousin in UAB so I want to try to go see him too. Both of those I thought were pretty good when I tried them a few weeks ago. Wasn't particularly impressed with the wit. Let me know when you're going to Ferus and I'll buy you a beer if I'm around.
I finally made by there yesterday. Only had a few minutes so I was only able to have one beer but I did sample their lager and hazy IPA. I had a pint of their Italian Pilsner. All were quite tasty but I must admit I was impressed with Pilsner. I will definitely go back with more time one day soon. And I will let you know, maybe even schedule it in advance.Steele Head Brewing in Trussville, AL. They bought Slag Heap Brewing many months ago and have been open a couple of weeks. 6 beers plus a root beer on tap. Nice venue, some decent beer. I did have to wait a while for the server to get off a personal phone call to get another beer but not terrible. They do plan to add some darker beers which I prefer.

I remember Spanish Fort from 50+ years ago when I was a fledgling Naval Aviator in Pensacola, FL. We revisited the area a few years back. Sure had changed. A lot.Old 31 Brewing Co. in Spanish Fort, AL.View attachment 830403
