Been enjoying my new record player and got this today. This is no Beach Boy album, more like early Peter Gabriel, every song is solid!

My wife usually listens to New Country.

This quiet Saturday morning she asked me to play some of my "ancient piano music".

I have on the turntable a Clarence "Pinetop" Smith album featuring "Jelly Roll" Morton. (It's a release from 1950, long after Jelly Roll's death, but is a goodsounding pressing in 33 1/3. I save my 78's for when I'm home alone.)

i like the educational bass line...boommm....................,boooom, booom. like a music leason for kids that aren't smoking crack! ;) :mug:

Heard this song so many times but never really paid attention to the lyrics, thanks @grampamark

You’re welcome, or something. I don’t know if it’s a blessing or a curse, but, the way my brain is wired, I seem to be able to find a reference to a song lyric or title in almost any discussion.

Welcome is right but maybe a something. The beat/flow of the song and the clopping sound in the beginning would make me think or picture some singing cowboy singing the song on a horse and really never paid attention to the verses just the the main part of the chorus. Looking at the lyrics and actually listen to the song has now change the song for me after hearing it for many years.
