Last night at a local brewery. Had the Firkin, the Bru Hiker and the Simcoe (we had a DD). All were excellent, but SWMBO and friends said the Bru Hiker wasn't as good as my quad.

Notice that there's not a juicy, hazy or sour in sight.

Anyone like death metal? Local place (Rare Form brewing) did a collab with Skinless, and they were there for the release party. I actually have a tattoo from the guy that did the cover art as well (already had it, didn't get it because of the band lol).

Today’s Michigan wedding went off without a hitch. While I always enjoy a beer or two at the reception, it’s hard to beat a good IPA back at the hotel afterwards!

Doing my best to reduce my carbon footprint, I decided to drink this yummy Bell’s Two Hearted IPA tonight rather than flying it back to SoCal in my luggage. Consider it my contribution to greening the planet, yeah!

Bells makes a terrific IPA, 7% ABV - and may I add, this is one of the more popular IPAs in the country. It is highly regarded.

Next time you see this one in the cold case, grab it quick…. It’s a fast mover!

HB Milk Stout brewed in late October. I kegged 5 gallons over Apex toasted coconut, and still had enough to fill two bombers, but without the coconut. Cool evening tonight, just right for sipping it by the fire.

Been floating between my Mountain IPA, which turned out very good, and a Sacramento pale ale that I had on a golf course in Auburn. Been a long day of redoing my shed roof and my kid, bless his heart, totally stepped up to help me out. I love my life. LOL
