Last night I treated myself to a bomber of Weyerbacher Double Simcoe IPA. It's very carbonated, the cork popped off like a champagne cork and a loud POP! It had a great head with some nice lacing, deep red amber in color, aroma was pleasant and hoppy but didn't linger. It tasted good, couldn't pick up too much of the malt, it had good bitterness, and flavor although it was a bit sharp due to the high carbonation. All in all I really enjoyed this beverage and will definitely be picking it up again.

I can't recall if it was the Double or just plain Simcoe IPA but I had some in the Weyerbacher "Big Beers" Sampler. I loved it. If it wasn't the double, I should look into this one!
