I don't have access to argon at home to purge the inside of kegs etc before welding, so I was looking to get a flux that would help prevent sugaring.

I am in Canada, so a specific brand that is available up here would be better, but I will certainly welcome all help.

/I searched the forums for flux, but found bupkis

As Yuri mentioned Solar flux by Harris group, or Superior #9 by Superior flux company. Mix backup flux with alchohol or water to make medium body paste and apply in weld area + 1/2" away from weld area to control discoloration from welding heat. Be careful not to get flux in weld joint as it will prevent fusion of weld metal and later will cause a leak.

Could one of you fine folks let me know what you are charged Stateside? I was quoted $120CDN for a 1 Lb can.
