If I'm the outside...
No problem...
Relax...
Don't worry...
Have a homebrew...

Or a brew...

Spray some white vinegar on the mold. Should kill everything. Try to limit the spread so it doesn't happen again.

It is mold. The sealed beer is OK. The carboy is most likely OK if you have an airlock installed.

Clean things up well and you should be good to go.

Also get one of the Damp-rid dehumifiers for the fridge. Makes a big difference.

It happens. I once was sloppy filling a carboy and spilled wort on the outside of the carboy.

I first checked on it after a week in the fermentation fridge and the brewhauler strap was full of the white fluffy mold.

I freaked, but the beer inside looked fine so I let it ride. After the beer was racked off, I completely cleaned/disinfected the inside of the fridge and ran that carboy strap through the wash. The beer turned out fine and I'm more careful about immediately cleaning any spilled wort.
