apparently this is the first time i've used this particular pin-lock keg (not certain). when i went to connect the co2, i could hear it leaking. i sprayed around the lid thinking it wasn't seating properly. however, it ended up being the gas-in post assembly that was leaking (very badly). if i push down on the quick connect, placing extra pressure on the poppet valve, it will quit leaking. however, it only leaks when the quick connect is actually connected, meaning that the poppet valve does at least seal properly. i thought it was a problem with the connector, but i tried 3 different ones and they all work the same on different kegs. so it is obviously an issue with that particular keg post assembly.

my question to you more experienced keggers is: WTH?
