This is a new one for me..
I poured a fresh batch (cream ale) into my primary (glass carboy) yesterday afternoon, threw a blow off tube on it and walked away..

Last night I noticed that there was a good amount of foam at the top of the carboy.. Foam isn't really the right word.. It looks like soap suds (i'm sure its not soap suds)...

This morning I woke up to the same "suds", with a blow off tube full of the suds, pushing their way to my jug... It's consistently moving through the tube..

I'm not "concerned" with it, but it is a bit strange that this is the first time i've seen something like this in 20 something batches...

I can see yeasties swimming around, so that's got me feeling warm and cuddly, but the foam is making me

It's just krausen. No worries. Be glad you used a blow off tube. You avoided the Kaboom!

Awesome, thanks.

I always use a blow off tube because of a big kaboom in the past ;)

All over the clothes in the closet too. D'oh!
