I'm in Delaware County NY, and in my area, there are very few trees with apples on them. A few people with proper orchards have some, but basically zero wild or sem-wild trees have any fruit. Curious if others in the North East are experiencing the same?

To keep the seed spreading animals guessing (bears, deer, etc.), wild apple trees adapted a biennial tendency and will have a heavy crop every other year. In southeast PA, I’m also seeing low crop yields in the wild apple trees here. Last year was heavy. I believe this is what you are observing.
