Are dry-hopping in primary and yeast washing an either-or thing, or can I do both?

I tried to do some searches on this, but I didn't have a ton of luck. I could dry hop in another carboy and wash the yeast from this one, but I'd really rather avoid the extra steps if I can.

It seems like some people think that dry-hopping will ruin the yeast for washing, somehow?

did some research in the yeast section. looked for "storing yeast" and it sounds like washing would be a viable choice even when dry-hopping. it didn't specifically mention dry-hopping but the process sounded like it would settle all the hops.

dry hopping won't ruin your yeast, just makes it more difficult for washing.

Hm, yeah, I have no idea why I didn't post this in the Yeast section :drunk:

Thanks a bunch, guys! :mug:
