Can anyone give me some feedback on this malt? How does it compare to regular Marris Otter? Is it just as convertible as regular Marris Otter or does the old floor malting method somehow make it less convertible?
I'm planning on brewing a really traditional old-style Brown Porter and I want it to be as authentic as possible and this floor-malted Marris Otter seems the way to go because, according to Nothern Brewer's website, it's the way malting was done some 200 years ago.
