So i been brewing for years now been using the old cooler mash tun..it served me well, but i want to upgrade to a herms

before i start building and investing tons of dough i wanna make sure i understand how a herms system works and what i need so correct me if im wrong

you take the hot liquor tank (in my case gonna be a 10 gallon mega pot with ball valve) put a heat exchange coil (wort chiller) with a pump to circulate the hot water around the coils, take another pump to pump wort from the MT through the hot coil and back to the mash tun(again 10 gal mega pot with false bottom) and let recirculate..if the HLT water is at 152 thats the temp of the wort correct? or is there a differencial i should be aware of?

do i have the basic idea of how a herms system works? what am i missing? besides the boil kettle
cheers
