I'm hoping that this is going to work the way I want it to.... LOL.... I "think" I love the sound of lemon to this style. Any suggestions on a hop schedule for the Sorachi Ace? I don't want it overpowering, but I want it there.

George

I made an APA once that I threw in an ounce or so of sorachi ace at flame out. I forget what other hops I used, but damn that sorachi gave a great lemony aroma punch!! I loved it. I brewed it for a nice summer brew. I would almost say that a much later hop addition would be best. Possibly even adding a quarter at 15 and the other at flame out. Although you are gonna lose a lot of those aromas from lagering. I know from that batch I did, a lot of the aromas were almost gone when I had the last bottle. I've heard of people dry hopping during the d-rest to try and preserve some of those aromas. I don't know if that helps or not. Good luck though! Sounds like a good brew and I LOVE sorachi ace.
