Vail Pale Ale

10 Pounds Maris Otter
1 Pound Crystal Malt (60L)
1 ½ Ounces Centennial Hops
(Bittering)
1 ½ Ounces Cascade Hops
(Finishing)
1 ½ Ounces Cascade Hops
(Aroma)
1 ½ Ounces Cascade Hops
(Dry Hop)
1 Package American Ale Yeast

My favorite AG recipe so far. I found it in a book somewhere and modified it a smidge. The recipe calls for a 90 minute boil, but I don't have the patience for that. I just mash for 60 minutes at 153 F, do a fly sparge and then boil for 60 minutes.

I'm not sure, but I think the current batch I made I may have used a pound or two more grain than the recipe calls for.

It comes out similar to EdWort's Haus Pale, but different because of the Maris Otter.
