I have a raspberry brown ale brew-day coming up and I'm wondering what methods people use for adding the fruit. My plan was to purée some frozen raspberries and add them after primary fermentation. I have a conical and I'm planning a 20 gallon batch using 20 pounds (!!!!) of berries my concern is from displacement of the beer and plugging the conical dump port(less concerned about that). I want to avoid using a tincture this time, what ingenious methods have you come up with ?

i do a puree in the secondary with sweet fruits. I talked to some of the brewers at dogfish and they said that's how they do it. That's the only reason i decided to do it that way.
