I have a masterbuilt electric smoker that looks like a mini fridge. The wood chips load from the side in a small cylindrical pan. Was wondering if anybody has used pellets in these before? I don't have a clue how pellets burn, so any info would be great.

I have a treager grill that uses wood pellets. I didn't think that I would like it being from south texas and always using mesquite wood, but I love my pellet pit. I set what temp I want and it maintains it perfectly. Also there is a benefit that you can purchase different flavor wood...mesquite, apple, oak, cherry, onion, pecan,ect...
