Using kettle for other purposes?

Hey guys I was just wondering whether it was a good idea to let SWMBO use my kettle for making turkey soup. I know there would be fat/oil and such from the turkey, and that obviously it would be removed by cleaners such as soap or something, but will this remain in small amounts and have an effect on future wort batches? TIA

Clean with detergent and rinse it well. I borrowed my old kettle once to my mom for soup, there wasn't any negative effect to my beers.
