I recently cleaned some commercial bottles for reuse. I ran out of oxy clean and used PBW. Of sat too long and etched the bottles a bit inside and out. Any reason I shouldn't use them? They should be clean enough? I know bottles are cheap but I hate waste!

I'd toss 'em sooner than later.
You know they're gonna be a pita to keep using 'cuz you can't really tell if they're actually clean any more.
But then I have over 10 cases of cleaned/sanitized/bagged and boxed bottles that have gone nowhere in nearly a decade now.
If you're anywhere near me, they're yours.

The haze could be mineral precipitated from you water if the hardness of the water is high. You could try boiling one bottle and one bottle in a bleach solution if you really want to try to save them. Probably not worth the effort unless you need the bottles immediately.

Day_tripper, thanks for the offer but I'm a bit far to make it worth it.
Flars, I already looked into it but it's definitely etched. I tried a bleach solution and a vinegar solution. It's also on the outside of the bottles and I can scratch the glass trying to scrape it off.
