Some sort of critter ate my bag of priming sugar. I have never used cane or brown sugar for priming. Anyone know how much to use to prime a 5 gallon batch for bottling?

2/3 cup table sugar should work just fine for you. Some will say it will leave a cidery taste but I've never experienced this with such a tiny amount.

+1 2/3 cup table sugar. you need a little less then corn sugar. I wouldn't use brown sugar, the molasses in it is an unknown factor (plus packing...)
