So I've recently acquired a used wine-making kit and have a few questions.

First off, can I use this equipment http://i.imgur.com/Qpav1.jpg to make beer and if so am I missing anything?

Also, is this http://imgur.com/3CkRv an air lock, and what is this? http://i.imgur.com/tLAzZ.jpg

You can most certainly use that to make beer. Pic 2 is an airlock, pic 3 looks like a wine thief and a bottling wand. Make sure the plastic vessels do not have scratches in them that harbor bacteria and use a good sanitizer like StarSan before using.
