I just noticed last night that for the last week i've had a batch fermenting with us-05 in the high 50's low 60's. I think it might have gotten below 55 on a couple occasions. will the low temps have an adverse effect on this yeast?

I know, RDWHAHB, but I had to ask.

I fermented a pale ale at 55 F using this yeast. It did take a long time, and I moved it to 65 to make sure it attenuated completely. It's a hardy strain -- I think you'll be fine, just keep it close to 70 F near the end to help it finish.

i have a BB sitting a bucket of water that I've swapping out ice packs in daily and didnt think the temp would get that low with the room temp being 75-80. wrong.

so I guess if i let it warm up to mid 60's and let if go it should be fine. thanks.
just needed a bit of reassurance
