Upgrading from a 16g CO2 cartridge to a paintball tank?

I am looking to upgrade from the little 16g CO2 cartridges on my SuperHandy growler dispenser.

Has anyone done this? Any advice would be appreciated!!

So with those brass transition fittings clearly there's plenty of flexibility wrt removing the original regulator assembly and going with something else.

If you look at this paintball tank regulator, it has a barbed fitting for the gas, but it is removable. I'd be confident one could come up with the brass bits to connect this regulator to your growler, probably at any big box DIY store...
