I made a batch of NB Dry Irish Stout and didn't realize until it was too late that the roasted barley was not crushed. I made it according to the kit (with UNcrushed barley) and obviously it is much lighter in color than a stout. My question is how will the uncrushed specialty grains impact the taste?

That's kind of what I figured. I tasted a sample from the hydrometer last week and it was good, just not a stout. Thanks!
