Lets see some picks of your idea of the Ultimate Home brewery.

That's pretty different, almost reminds me of the one on the Beer Advocate mag last month. Where did this come from ? if I can ask, it's wierd to see copper and ss mixed like that on a portable rolling cart ..

I was gonna use my new 3D modeling skills to show you my ultimate brewery, but I decided to render it with higher resolution:

It's a single tier, twin pump, computer controlled steam system of 1/2 bbl capacity.

Left to right: laptop, HLT, Ultimate MLT, boil kettle, big steam generator.

The birthday cake looking things are giant NG burners, and the black squares are pumps.

All supported by a stout, welded tube steel platform.

Pretty sweet, huh?

I'm surprised there hasn't been any pics of jagged edged keggles in this thread.

Yuri, only one comment. You have the burners set too rich, you'll get soot on those shiney kettles.

Does this count? /drool

Specific Mechanical systems are dreamy...

Except those stupid screw-on fittings for the manifold. I used to brew on a 15bbl SM system, and every damn time I'd get a shot of hot wort from disconnecting a manifold pipe. Plus you need their wrench to use them! Stupid...why not tri-clamps? Anyhow...

That diesel lorry exhaust atop the kettle, Orfy, condenses the evaporate, so as to not fill the entire room with steam. You need one of those if you've no direct steam vent to the outside. I've heard it called a "calandria", but that can't be right.

Cheers,

Bob

Just over $5k and you can have your own.

I think they'll even ship it to you for free.

I saw that!! $5k is fair chunk of money, but for a lifetime of brewing it's a great investment. The goal is in place, I'm aiming to have one this spring...:rockin:

So who makes that copper setup anyway? Is that thing JUST $5K or is it more than that?

I"m not sure why but if that SABCO is $5K, I'm assuming that copper one is at least $10K.

It looks like a million bucks.

Not as big as many of the above ones, but I think it looks quite cool
Compact and easy to use German quality:

webpage in German,

All operations takes place within that container; they even got a film:

and some info in english.

I want one of these, though it's to expensive:(

Not to beat a long-dead horse, or bump an old thread, but compared to the Sabco, this thing is "cheap".

If you export it, you would not have to py the included 19% German tax, so the 20 Liter model (5 gallons into the fermenter) is "only" US$1600. Not too bad for a system like that, and cleaner looking than a bunch of kettles, IMHO.

If I had the cash (OK, the permission from the non-beer-drinking wife, that's the one I would get.
