What temp range is normal 1/2" tubing good for. I want to get some from HLT -MLT-Keggle. Dont really want to go with the high temp stuff but will if I have to. I will be cooling wort in the keg so no hise will need to exceed about 175*

The high temp stuff is totally worth it. It does not collapse like reg tubing and its really not that much since you do not need that much

This looks like nice stuff, and very reasonably priced. Is it silicone, or is it some other material?

Thanks

Its not silicone, they call it "thermoplastic" but I have no idea what it is exactly.

Anecdotally it is more kink resistant than silicone. Downsides are that it is opaque and not as heat tolerant as silicone, though it can be autoclaved so I would say the heat issue is a non-issue as far as brewing is concerned.
