I have many friends that continue to ask me for a Pilsner. I find Trumer Pils to be the best tasting example of a craft type Pils recipe and would like to brew something like it for my friends. I am aware that they use only German noble hops (Saaz and Hallertau?) and de-husked pilsner malt (they likely do the de-husking in-house because I can't find it anywhere). Anybody have a recipe that closely resembles what they are doing in Berkeley? I'm hoping to brew soon. Cheers!

i'm intrigued by the idea of de-husked pilsner malt.
let us know if you find some or a method that isn't too labor intensive.
i'd be willing to brew a couple 0.5 gallon batches to compare to see if it's worthwhile.
