True Brew Kit question

I just bought the True Brew porter kit and comparing it to other recipes it seems a little weak in comparison.

3.3 lbs dark LME
2 lbs dark DME
6oz chocolate malt
8oz malto-dextrin
1oz cascade hops

Is there any way to help this recipe at all? This is only my second batch so i dont have that much to help this recipe out.

.5 dry wheat extract
1lb light LME
.5 oz Saaz hops

Would any of that improve this porter at all? or is it good as is?
